1.106.1
इन्द्रं मित्रं वरुणमग्निमूतये मारुतं शर्धो अदितिंहवामहे |
indraṃ mitraṃ varuṇamaghnimūtaye mārutaṃ śardho aditiṃhavāmahe |
1. CALL we for aid on Indra, Mitra, Varuṇa and Agni and the Marut host and Aditi.
1.106.2
रथं न दुर्गाद वसवः सुदानवो विश्वस्मान नोंहसो निष पिपर्तन ||
rathaṃ na durghād vasavaḥ sudānavo viśvasmān noaṃhaso niṣ pipartana ||
Even as a chariot from a difficult ravine, bountiful Vasus, rescue us from all distress.
1.106.3
त आदित्या आ गता सर्वतातये भूत देवा वर्त्रतूर्येषु शम्भुवः |
ta ādityā ā ghatā sarvatātaye bhūta devā vṛtratūryeṣu śambhuvaḥ |
2 Come ye Ādityas for our full prosperity, in conquests of the foe, ye Gods, bring joy to us.

1.106.5
अवन्तु नः पितरः सुप्रवाचना उत देवी देवपुत्रे रताव्र्धा |
avantu naḥ pitaraḥ supravācanā uta devī devaputre ṛtāvṛdhā |
3 May the most glorious Fathers aid us, and the two Goddesses, Mothers of the Gods, who strengthen Law.

नराशंसं वाजिनं वाजयन्निह कषयद्वीरं पूषणं सुम्नैरीमहे |
narāśaṃsaṃ vājinaṃ vājayanniha kṣayadvīraṃ pūṣaṇaṃ sumnairīmahe |
4 To mighty Narāśaṁsa, strengthening his might, to Pūṣan, ruler over men, we pray with hymns.

बर्हस्पते सदमिन नः सुगं कर्धि शं योर्यत ते मनुर्हितं तदीमहे |
bṛhaspate sadamin naḥ sughaṃ kṛdhi śaṃ yoryat te manurhitaṃ tadīmahe |
5 Bṛhaspati, make us evermore an easy path: we crave what boon thou hast for men in rest and stir.

इन्द्रं कुत्सो वर्त्रहणं शचीपतिं काटे निबाळ्ह रषिरह्वदूतये |
indraṃ kutso vṛtrahaṇaṃ śacīpatiṃ kāṭe nibāḷha ṛṣirahvadūtaye |
6 Sunk in the pit the Ṛṣi Kutsa called, to aid, Indra the Vṛtra-slayer, Lord of power and might.

देवैर्नो देव्यदितिर्नि पातु देवस्त्राता तरायतामप्रयुछन |
devairno devyaditirni pātu devastrātā trāyatāmaprayuchan |
7 May Aditi the Goddess guard us with the Gods: may the protecting God keep us with ceaseless care.
1.106.14

This prayer of ours may Varuṇa grant, and Mitra, and Aditi and Sindhu, Earth and Heaven.
