1.110.1
ततं मे अपस्तदु तायते पुनः सवादिष्ठा धीतिरुचथाय शस्यते |
tataṃ me apastadu tāyate punaḥ svādiṣṭhā dhītirucathāya śasyate |
1. THE holy work I wrought before is wrought again: my sweetest hymn is sung to celebrate your praise.
1.110.2
अयं समुद्र इह विश्वदेव्यः सवाहाक्र्तस्य समु तर्प्णुत रभवः ||
ayaṃ samudra iha viśvadevyaḥ svāhākṛtasya samu tṛpṇuta ṛbhavaḥ ||
Here, O ye Ṛbhus, is this sea for all the Gods: sate you with Soma offered with the hallowing word.
1.110.3
आभोगयं पर यदिछन्त ऐतनापाकाः पराञ्चो मम के चिदापयः |
ābhoghayaṃ pra yadichanta aitanāpākāḥ prāñco mama ke cidāpayaḥ |
2 When, seeking your enjoyment onward from afar, ye, certain of my kinsmen, wandered on your way,

सौधन्वनासश्चरितस्य भूमनागछत सवितुर्दाशुषो गर्हम ||
saudhanvanāsaścaritasya bhūmanāghachata saviturdāśuṣo ghṛham ||
Sons of Sudhanvan, after your long journeying, ye came unto the home of liberal Savitar.
1.110.5
तत सविता वो.अम्र्तत्वामासुवदगोह्यं यच्छ्रवयन्त ऐतन |
tat savitā vo.amṛtatvāmāsuvadaghohyaṃ yacchravayanta aitana |
3 Savitar therefore gave you immortality, because ye came proclaiming him whom naught can hide;

तयं चिच्चमसमसुरस्य भक्षणमेकं सन्तमक्र्णुता चतुर्वयम ||
tyaṃ ciccamasamasurasya bhakṣaṇamekaṃ santamakṛṇutā caturvayam ||
And this the drinking-chalice of the Asura, which till that time was one, ye made to be fourfold.
1.110.7
विष्ट्वी शमी तरणित्वेन वाघतो मर्तासः सन्तो अम्र्तत्वमानशुः |
viṣṭvī śamī taraṇitvena vāghato martāsaḥ santo amṛtatvamānaśuḥ |
4 When they had served with zeal at sacrifice as priests, they, mortal as they were, gained immortality.
1.110.8
सौधन्वना रभवः सूरचक्षसः संवत्सरे समप्र्च्यन्त धीतिभिः ||
saudhanvanā ṛbhavaḥ sūracakṣasaḥ saṃvatsare samapṛcyanta dhītibhiḥ ||
The Ṛbhus, children of Sudhanvan, bright as suns, were in a year's course made associate with prayers.

कषेत्रमिव वि ममुस्तेजनेनमेकं पात्रं रभवो जेहमानम |
kṣetramiva vi mamustejanenamekaṃ pātraṃ ṛbhavo jehamānam |
5 The Ṛbhus, with a rod measured, as ’twere a field, the single sacrificial chalice. wide of mouth,

उपस्तुता उपमं नाधमाना अमर्त्येषु शरव इछमानाः ||
upastutā upamaṃ nādhamānā amartyeṣu śrava ichamānāḥ ||
Lauded of all who saw, praying for what is best, desiring glorious fame among Immortal Gods.
1.110.11
आ मनीषामन्तरिक्षस्य नर्भ्यः सरुचेव घर्तं जुहवाम विद्मना |
ā manīṣāmantarikṣasya nṛbhyaḥ sruceva ghṛtaṃ juhavāma vidmanā |
6 As oil in ladles, we through knowledge will present unto the Heroes of the firmament our hymn,—

तरणित्वा ये पितुरस्य सश्चिर रभवो वाजमरुहन दिवो रजः ||
taraṇitvā ye piturasya saścira ṛbhavo vājamaruhan divo rajaḥ ||
The Ṛbhus who came near with this great Father's speed, and rose to heaven's high sphere to eat the strengthening food.
1.110.13
रभुर्न इन्द्रः शवसा नवीयान रभुर्वाजेभिर्वसुभिर्वसुर्ददिः |
ṛbhurna indraḥ śavasā navīyān ṛbhurvājebhirvasubhirvasurdadiḥ |
7 Ṛbhu to us is Indra freshest in his might, Ṛbhu with powers and wealth is giver of rich gifts.
1.110.14
युष्माकं देवा अवसाहनि परिये.अभि तिष्ठेमप्र्त्सुतीरसुन्वताम ||
yuṣmākaṃ devā avasāhani priye.abhi tiṣṭhemapṛtsutīrasunvatām ||
Gods, through your favour may we on the happy day quell the attacks of those who pour no offerings forth.
1.110.15
निश्चर्मण रभवो गामपिंशत सं वत्सेनास्र्जता मातरं पुनः |
niścarmaṇa ṛbhavo ghāmapiṃśata saṃ vatsenāsṛjatā mātaraṃ punaḥ |
8 Out of a skin, O Ṛbhus, once ye formed a cow, and brought the mother close unto her calf again.
1.110.16
सौधन्वनासः सवपस्यया नरो जिव्री युवाना पितराक्र्णोतन ||
saudhanvanāsaḥ svapasyayā naro jivrī yuvānā pitarākṛṇotana ||
Sons of Sudhanvan, Heroes, with surpassing skill ye made your aged Parents youthful as before.
1.110.17
वाजेभिर्नो वाजसातावविड्ढ्य रभुमानिन्द्र चित्रमा दर्षि राधः |
vājebhirno vājasātāvaviḍḍhy ṛbhumānindra citramā darṣi rādhaḥ |
9 Help us with strength where spoil is won, O Indra: joined with the Ṛbhus give us varied bounty.
1.110.18
तन नो ... ||
tan no ... ||
This prayer of ours may Varuṇa grant, and Mitra, and Aditi and Sindhu, Earth and Heaven.
