10.180.1
पर ससाहिषे पुरुहूत शत्रूञ जयेष्ठस्ते शुष्म इहरातिरस्तु |
pra sasāhiṣe puruhūta śatrūñ jyeṣṭhaste śuṣma iharātirastu |
1. O MUCH-INVOKED, thou hast subdued thy foemen: thy might is loftiest; here display thy bounty.
10.180.2
इन्द्रा भर दक्षिणेना वसूनि पतिःसिन्धूनामसि रेवतीनाम ||
indrā bhara dakṣiṇenā vasūni patiḥsindhūnāmasi revatīnām ||
In thy right hand, O Indra, bring us treasures: thou art the Lord of rivers filled with riches.
10.180.3
मर्गो न भीमः कुचरो गिरिष्ठाः परावत आ जगन्थापरस्याः |
mṛgho na bhīmaḥ kucaro ghiriṣṭhāḥ parāvata ā jaghanthāparasyāḥ |
2 Like a dread wild beast roaming on the mountain thou hast approached us from the farthest distance.
10.180.4
सर्कं संशाय पविमिन्द्र तिग्मं वि शत्रून्ताळि वि मर्धो नुदस्व ||
sṛkaṃ saṃśāya pavimindra tighmaṃ vi śatrūntāḷi vi mṛdho nudasva ||
Whetting thy bold and thy sharp blade, O Indra, crush thou the foe and scatter those who hate us.
10.180.5
इन्द्र कषत्रमभि वाममोजो.अजायथा वर्षभचर्षणीनाम |
indra kṣatramabhi vāmamojo.ajāyathā vṛṣabhacarṣaṇīnām |
3 Thou, mighty Indra, sprangest into being as strength for lovely lordship o’er the people.
10.180.6
अपानुदो जनममित्रयन्तमुरुं देवेभ्योक्र्णोरु लोकम ||
apānudo janamamitrayantamuruṃ devebhyoakṛṇoru lokam ||
Thou drovest off the folk who were unfriendly, and to the Gods thou gavest room and freedom.
