10.3.1
इनो राजन्नरतिः समिद्धो रौद्रो दक्षाय सुषुमानदर्शि |
ino rājannaratiḥ samiddho raudro dakṣāya suṣumānadarśi |
1. O KING, the potent and terrific envoy, kindled for strength, is manifest in beauty.
10.3.2
चिकिद वि भाति भासा बर्हतासिक्नीमेति रुशतीमपाजन ||
cikid vi bhāti bhāsā bṛhatāsiknīmeti ruśatīmapājan ||
He shines, all-knowing, with his lotty splendour: chasing black Night he comes with white-rayed Morning.
10.3.3
कर्ष्णां यदेनीमभि वर्पसा भूज्जनयन योषाम्ब्र्हतः पितुर्जाम |
kṛṣṇāṃ yadenīmabhi varpasā bhūjjanayan yoṣāmbṛhataḥ piturjām |
2 Having o’ercome the glimmering Black with beauty, and bringing forth the dame the Great Sire's Daughter,
10.3.4
ऊर्ध्वं भानुं सूर्यस्य सतभायन्दिवो वसुभिररतिर्वि भाति ||
ūrdhvaṃ bhānuṃ sūryasya stabhāyandivo vasubhiraratirvi bhāti ||
Holding aloft the radiant light of Sūrya, as messenger of heaven he shines with treasures.
10.3.5
भद्रो भद्रया सचमान आगात सवसारं जारो अभ्येतिपश्चात |
bhadro bhadrayā sacamāna āghāt svasāraṃ jāro abhyetipaścāt |
3 Attendant on the Blessed Dame the Blessed hath come: the Lover followeth his Sister.
10.3.6
सुप्रकेतैर्द्युभिरग्निर्वितिष्ठन रुशद्भिर्वर्णैरभि राममस्थात ||
supraketairdyubhiraghnirvitiṣṭhan ruśadbhirvarṇairabhi rāmamasthāt ||
Agni, far-spreading with conspicuous lustre, hath compassed Night with whitelyshining garments.
10.3.7
अस्य यामासो बर्हतो न वग्नूनिन्धाना अग्नेः सख्युःशिवस्य |
asya yāmāso bṛhato na vaghnūnindhānā aghneḥ sakhyuḥśivasya |
4 His goings-forth kindle as ’twere high voices the goings of the auspicious Friend of Agni.
10.3.8
इड्यस्य वर्ष्णो बर्हतः सवासो भामासो यामन्नक्तवश्चिकित्रे ||
iḍyasya vṛṣṇo bṛhataḥ svāso bhāmāso yāmannaktavaścikitre ||
The rays, the bright beams of the strong-jawed, mighty, adorable Steer are visible as he cometh.
10.3.9
सवना न यस्य भामासः पवन्ते रोचमानस्य बर्हतःसुदिवः |
svanā na yasya bhāmāsaḥ pavante rocamānasya bṛhataḥsudivaḥ |
5 Whose radiant splendours flow, like sounds, about us, his who is lofty, brilliant, and effulgent,
10.3.10
जयेष्ठेभिर्यस्तेजिष्ठैः करीळुमद्भिर्वर्षिष्ठेभिर्भानुभिर्नक्षति दयाम ||
jyeṣṭhebhiryastejiṣṭhaiḥ krīḷumadbhirvarṣiṣṭhebhirbhānubhirnakṣati dyām ||
Who reaches heaven with best and brightest lustres, sportive and piercing even to the summit.
10.3.11
अस्य शुष्मासो दद्र्शानपवेर्जेहमानस्य सवनयन नियुद्भिः |
asya śuṣmāso dadṛśānapaverjehamānasya svanayan niyudbhiḥ |
6 His powers, whose chariot fellies gleam and glitter have loudly roared while, as with teams, he hasted.
10.3.12
परत्नेभिर्यो रुशद्भिर्देवतमो वि रेभद्भिररतिर्भाति विभ्वा ||
pratnebhiryo ruśadbhirdevatamo vi rebhadbhiraratirbhāti vibhvā ||
He, the most Godlike, far-extending envoy, shines with flames ancient, resonant, whitely-shining.
10.3.13
स आ वक्षि महि न आ च सत्सि दिवस्प्र्थिव्योररतिर्युवत्योः |
sa ā vakṣi mahi na ā ca satsi divaspṛthivyoraratiryuvatyoḥ |
7 So bring us ample wealth: seat thee as envoy of the two youthful Matrons, Earth and Heaven.
10.3.14
अग्निः सुतुकः सुतुकेभिरश्वै रभस्वद्भीरभस्वानेह गम्याः ||
aghniḥ sutukaḥ sutukebhiraśvai rabhasvadbhīrabhasvāneha ghamyāḥ ||
Let Agni rapid with his rapid, horses, impetuous with impetuous Steeds, come hither.
